Applications are invited for the post
of Office Attendant (unreserved) in the pay scale of Rs.2550-55-2660-60-3200
on prescribed forms obtainable from the College (Office of
the Principal’s P.A.) or download from the link below: -
Applications together with attested
copies of certificate/testimonials etc. should reach the
Principal latest by February 9, 2008.

Minimum Qualifications for the
post:
Essential: 8th
class pass from a recognized school or institution.
Candidates will be required to produce a certificate from
the school/institution concerned.
Desirable: Candidates
should have passed 10th class from a recognized
Board.
Note: the College reserves the
right to call a limited number of candidates for interview
based on their qualifications and the number and nature of
post(s) if the circumstances so warrant.
2. Lecturer
(Temporary)
-
Applications are invited for the temporary position of
Lecturer in the Computer Applications department, on prescribed forms, obtainable from the
College (Office of the Principal's P.A.) or downloadable
from the link below in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500 plus usual allowances
admissible under rules of University of Delhi.
Women
candidates are preferred. Candidates, who fulfill
only the minimum
qualifications for the above positions, may not
all be called for interviews. Non-NET candidates may also
apply, but will be considered subject to rules.

The qualifications for these posts are described
below (may be obtained from College also).
The applications should reach the
Principal, latest by 05 March 2008.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR LECTURER
-
Good academic record with at
least 50% marks or those who passed their Master’s
Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree)
or an equivalent grade in the seven point scale with
letter grades O, A, B, C. D. E & F at the Master’s
degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian
University or an equivalent degree from a foreign
University.

Candidates should have qualified
the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the
U.G.C./CSIR or similar test accredited by the U.G.C.
-
NET shall remain the compulsory
requirement for appointment of Lecturers for those
with post graduate degree. However, the candidates
having M. Phil/Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are
exempted from NET for PG level and UG level
teaching. The candidates having M. Phil Degree in
the concerned subject are exempted from NET for UG
level teaching only.
Notes: -

Candidates who have completed M. Phil Degree by 31st
December 1993 or have submitted Ph.D. thesis to the
University in the concerned subject up to 31st
December 2002 are exempted from appearing in the NET
examination. In case such candidates fail to obtain
Ph.D. degree they shall have to pass the NET
examination.

A relaxation of the
minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% may be
provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF
examination conducted by the UGC/CSIR only, prior to
1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for
JRF examination were 50%.
(i) The Selection
Committee/Governing Body reserve the right to change
the nature and number of posts.
(ii) Candidates already in
employment should send their application through
proper channels.
