TENDER NOTICE NO 3/2007

1. Separate sealed Tenders (Technical Bid and Commercial Bid), on Item Rate Basis, are invited for the execution of the following works:

   Last date of issue of tenders.	23rd  Oct 2007 up to 3:00 p.m.
   Last date of receipt of tenders	26th   Oct 2007 up to 3:00 p.m.
   Opening of Technical Bids	26th   Oct 2007 at 3:30 p.m.

    

   Opening date of Technical Bids for Civil Works May Change, in case of any change, fresh date shall be promulgated.

2. Tender documents along with conditions of the contact may be obtained from the office of Bursar, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Lajpat Nagar IV, New Delhi–110 024, during office hours (10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) on payment of Tender fee of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) in the form of Banker’s Cheque/Demand Draft of Nationalised Bank issued in favour of Principal, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, payable at New Delhi.

3. The tender will be issued only on production of valid registration and electrical license and registration with sales Tax department, Delhi Govt

. Contractors who fulfill the following conditions only may apply:-

(a)  Operate from Delhi.

(b)  For Civil Works: Class A to D registration with CPWD/STATE PWD’s/ NDMC/MCD/M.E.S/Indian Railways/University of Delhi.

(c)  For Electrical Works. The contractor should have valid and appropriate electrical contractors’ license issued by appropriate government authority.

(d)  Who have successfully carried out at least two similar works, consisting of Renovation/Maintenance/Electrification works (Internal), of value not less than Rs. 10 Lacs each during the last three years.

(e)  Have proof of registration with Income Tax, Sales Tax, DVAT departments of Delhi Government.

4. The Commercial bid of only the short listed contractors in the Technical bid will be opened. The Commercial bid of those contractors who do not qualify in the Technical bid will not be opened.

5. Tenders will be issued to only those firms who will quote their rates from Delhi office and bills for the supply/works will be operated from Delhi and not from works offices/branch offices/head offices situated in other states.

• The quantities of the tender are always subject to change.

• The College Authority has the absolute right to accept or reject any or all tenders in part or full without assigning any reasons thereof.
