ALUMNA CELL

The Alumna Cell strives to establish a medium to help ex-LSR students connect with their 'alma mater'. This is done through a range of activities organised throughout the year. In the year 2002 the Cell invited theatre person Aurupa Roy and actress Tilotama Shome to present a Puppet Show.  Ms Shivani Vazir was also invited to speak on 'Careers in Media'. The old students reminisced over high tea and were entertained by a cultural programme during the Annual Reunion nostalgia.

THE PLACEMENT CELL

The Placement Cell has been successful in gearing students for the world of Higher Education and Workforce. From holding workshops on a variety of career options to organizing presentations on behalf of institutes and corporate recruiters, the cell has gained tremendous recognition for its work. The cell has added professionalism to the way students interact with national and international agencies eager to tap the talent in LSR.

THE_WEBSITE_DIVISION

The website division seeks to create an interactive space for students to stay connected. Our college website was developed in April 2001. It is our window to the outside world. We have made an attempt to make our website comprehensive and interactive. We not only respond to the e-mails you send us but also have features like the message board and guest book which give us a feedback on our website and are used as forums for interaction. This year we are making an effort towards making a consolidated database of our ex-alumna and faculty. Our website works and responds all year round irrespective of holidays. There are frequent updates and all URLs are active throughout the year.

Our NEWS page should be your lookout 'cause we put all new information on it. It’s the page on which we put our scheduled events too. Hope to have a great interaction with you.
