Long
recognized as excellent preparation to develop an enquiring mind, the study of
philosophy enables students to explore fundamental questions of human existence
as they clarify and test their beliefs and values. The students are exposed to
both Indian and Western philosophy, ethics, logic and aesthetics. The Department
of Philosophy uses small seminars, tutorials and interactive wall papers to help
students develop their cognitive and expository skills. This is a Department
that strives to bring synergy between all disciplines, with its
research
and engagement with Ethics in
