Laying of Plaque by Dr. Bharat Ram at Commercial Senior Secondary School, Dryaganj - the site where Lady Shri Ram College was founded.

Screening of film 'AMU' based on 1984 Sikh Riots in the presence of the Director Sonali Bose.

29th August 2005

Cross Country Run organised by the National Sports Organization (NSO) to celebrate "LSR's Fifty Years of Excellence. The Run was flagged off by LSR alumnus and Atjuna Awardee, Ms. Nonita Lall Quereshi. About 550 students, faculty, non-teaching staff, sports coaches and Principal participated in the event.

Golden Jubilee Lecture Series (First Lecture)
Prof . Vijayalakshmi Ravindranath, Founder Director, National Brain Research Centre, was invited to speak on "Life and the Brain"at Lady Shri Ram College Auditorium.

1st - 17th September 2005

Nazariya -looking through the lens (a film Festival)
Projekt (film and photography society), Women's Development Cell and VAPP (Voluntary Agency Placement Programme) organised the film festival to showcase good cinema that cuts across space and time and triggers discussion. The Films, both features and documentaries, centered on the themes of fundamentalism, violence, women in power, development, sexuality and so on. Noted directors Sidharth Kak & Shema Dastoor were there, the day their films were screened.

8th September 2005

Noted Pakistani director Sabiha Sumar's 'Suicide Warrior' was screened in the College Auditorium. The film is based on the Srilankan women suicide bombers. It was followed by a discussion on her films including 'Khanwsh Pani'.

Commerce Department organised a Programme 'Commerce Confluence' where student had a first hand interaction with Corporate Houses.

Ms. Mrinal Pande, Group Editor for the Hindi publications of the Hindustan Times Group, was invited to speak on "The Concept of Empowerment atLady Shri Ram College Auditorium

Diwali Mela - An NSS speciality the Diwali Mela was a tremendous success, NGG's set up a record number of stalls this year and sales peaked to a new high

Ms. Sudha Murty, Chairperson of Infosys Foundation was invited to speak on "Philanthropy" at Lady Shri Ram College Auditorium

Sports Festival was held as part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations and received overwhelming response & participation tTom both Teaching & Non-Teaching staff members. Prizes to the winners were distributed in the evening by Dr.Bharatram

As part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations Artistes Unlimited, under the guidance of Annette Philip. LSR alumna, Class of 2000-2003, put up a musical evening at India Habitat Centre

LSAYA - A Festival of Inter-college Choreography & Dance Competitions was organised in the College Auditorium.

VlBGYORITY (24th November) - There were some outstanding performances put up by Indian Music Society & Western Music Society.

ANAAHAD (25th November) & HYSTERIA (26th November) - A festival of performances & inter college competitions in Indian Music & Western Music.

Department of Hindi organised Hindi Kavi Sanunelan in which Dr. Meenaksh: Gopinath distributed prizes to winners of National Level Poetry Writing Competitior. followed by recitals by noted poets Sh. Bal Swaroop Rahi, Sh. Pawan Dixit. Sh. Ashok Chakradhar, Dr. Anamika, Sh Alok Puranik, Smt. Madhu Mohini Upadhyay and Smt. Pushpa Rahi
